Autodesk inventor pricing
You have an Inventor, you have other softwares meant for that sector of construction, and so they have those sector-specific tools. Inventor does have a steep learning curve, they have a lot of packed tools in every module that they own. So, the ease of integration to the business depends on how proficient or how capable the person is with the software. So, that's kind of why we went with Inventor, it was a little bit more thought out. Versus a house where it's thought of beforehand and everything's at a better place where you don't have to go to the garage by passing a stinky bathroom.
Think of a house, where you can have a house, that you own it, it's a small house, then you add a bathroom here and then maybe a bedroom there and maybe a living room over here and it's kind of pieced together, but it's nice, it works. Whereas SOLIDWORKS has its equivalent, which is Express, but it's not as fine-tuned. Where if you click a certain parameter, the rule updates other parameters in any way you want, and you can literally make up almost any rule you can think of.

what's it called? iLogic system where you can literally write some code and some rules into your model. Although there are a couple items that do stand out, one of which was Inventor's has an iLogic. So the reason we chose Inventor when compared with say another one like SOLIDWORKS, is because Inventor and SOLIDWORKS are very close, it's really depending on how well you get to know the program.

Whereas Inventor, and mostly Autodesk products have subscriptions.
